The trip to Zanskar starts with a flight over the Himalayas into the Trans-Himalayan region of Ladakh in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi airport on time to start your expedition, check in a hotel for comfortable night stay and dinner.
Day 02 : Delhi - Leh
In the next morning, after taking tea and breakfast from Delhi hotel, reach Delhi airport to catch flight to Leh. After your arrival at Leh book one hotel where you will be provided with a lavish night stay and dinner.
Day 03 : In Leh
Spend your day in visiting some of the majestic places of Leh. Start visiting Sankar Monastery on the valley floor. Take a little rest in the afternoon and then go in exploring the famous ecological center of Ladakh where you will be entertained by a small documentary film on ancient Heritage of Ladakh. Overnight stay is at Ladakh hotel followed by a comfortable dinner.
Day 04 : Leh - Kargil
This day starts with arriving at Kargil, which is 180 kms from Leh. You will be crossed Lamayuru Monastery one of the oldest monasteries amongst the “Red Hat” sect. Several valleys will accompany you in throughout the journey as mountain pass, the Indus valley and the Suru valley. Night stay is at Kargil hotel is a better option.
Day 05 : Kargil - Rangdum
In the next morning after breakfast drive for reaching Rangdum (1 2,000ft), Panikar and Parkachik offers a breathtaking views of the Nun and Kun massifs (7000 mtrs), hanging glacier and big meadows. Stay the night at Rangdum hotel.
Day 06 : Rangdum - Remala
In the morning after breakfast, start driving to reach Remala, this is the starting point of rafting. The Doda River, a tributary of Zanskar River, where your journey starts. You will get Pensi La (14,500ft) nearby, offers picturesque views of Zanskar peak. Entire night is at Remala hotel with a relish dinner.
Day 07 : Remela - Pandum
After breakfast in the morning rafting starts at Remala by sailing the Karshna Gompa and near Pandum. A little instruction should be taken by the beginners before going for a class III section rafting. Create a camp at Pandum for a little rest followed by visiting at Karshna Gompa for evening chant. Stay overnight at Pandum, where you will be lured by a delicious dinner.
Day 08 : Pandum - Pidmu
In the next morning, make yourself ready to raft from Karsha up to Pidmu. It is a distance of 30 kms with class II and III rapids. You can also utilize your time by visiting the nearby villages as Pidmu and Hanomil. Stay the night at Pidmu.
Day 09 : Pidmu - Neyerak Village
This morning starts with rafting 20 kms from Pidmu to Nyerak, a class III section. Spend the entire day in visiting the some of the breath taking views of Nyerak village. Overnight stay is provided at the Nyerak village.
Day 10 : Nyerak - Lamaguru
Now rafting to Lamaguru starts through the core of the Zanskar. Class III rapid and class IV rapids with a classic white water day is taken, followed by a lunch near the confluence of Markha river with Zanskar. Rock formation, spires and an astonishing palette of colors include charm to your trip. Pass the night at Lamaguru.
Day 11 : In Lamaguru
This day is for exploring Lamaguru followed by hiking at Kaya and Skiu. Night halt is at Lamaguru with a dinner at the hotel.

12 : Lamaguru - Nimu
This morning starts with adding a little adventure to your raft. You can raft another 40 kms of Class III/IV white water with Lamaguru to Nimu today. Spend your night at Nimu.
Day 13 : Nimu - Alchi - Leh
In this morning after breakfast and tea, start rafting for the last 25 kms from Nimu to conclude the trip at Alchi with Class III and class IV rapids. Alchi is the concluding destination of your expedition, walk up to the sanctuaries and old monasteries, to view some fabulous woodcarvings and frescoes. You need to drive 60 kms to reach at Leh, check in a hotel there for night stay and dinner.
Day 14 : Leh - Delhi
After morning tea and breakfast, reach at the Leh airport to catch flight for Delhi. After coming to Delhi Check in a hotel for stay.
Day 15 : Delhi - Flight Back Home
This morning starts with wrapping the exotic memories of your rafting trip with panoramic magnificence. Transfer to Delhi International airport to reach the onward destination.
