Dudwa National parkThe Dudwa national park is one of the most beautiful national parks in India and the world. The collection of birds here is really a remarkable thing. The sanctuary is spread over a group of islands, and is surrounded by little hills. It is literally the heaven of all national parks.

Dudwa National park – Introduction:
Dudwa National park is is home to several streams going through the rich forest. Dudwa National park is a specially established for the preservation of the endangered species Nilgiri Tahr. Apart from this, here many other flora and fauna can also be found. The main attraction of the Dudwa National park is the rich vegetation and high population of various endangered species.

Wildlife in Dudwa National park:
The major types of plant species found in the Dudwa national park are grasslands, shrub lands and forests. There are quite a few small patches of forests in hollows and gullies in these areas. The grasslands are found in the terrain above 2000 meters. The deeper valleys are extensively forested. The bases of the cliffs are predominated by Shrub lands and interspersed in rocky slab areas. The famous antibacterial named Eupatorium glandulous is found here.
The Dudwa national park is home a lot of rare species. The main inhabitant of the Dudwa Park is the Nilgiri Tahr. It is an endangered species and can be found only in the Dudwa national park. The park also have inhabitants like leopard, jungle cat, Indian muntjac, gaur,  wild dog, deer, dhole, , tiger, nilgiri langur, stripe-necked mongoose, golden jackal, Indian porcupine, nilgiri marten, sambar small clawed otter, ruddy mongoose, and funambulus sublineatus dusky striped squirrel, and many more.

Climate – The climate of Dudwa national park is affected by many factors. The months of June, July, and August are marked as the monsoon months. During this period of time, this locality receives heavy rainfall. The temperature rises to maximum in the months of April and May. During the months of January and February, winter dominates and there is little rainfall. The northern monsoon causes a little rainfall during the months of September to December.

Best time to visit –
The best time visit Dudwa national park is from September to December. There is another time which is the months of January and February.

The airport nearest to the Dudwa National park is the Lucknow airport, which is about 35 kilometers away.
By Rail: The railway station nearest to the Dudwa National park are the Dudhwa (4 kilometers), Palia (10 kilometers) and Mailani (37 kilometers).
By Road:The Dudwa National park is well connected by roadways to Dudhwa 4 kilometers, Palia 10 kilometers and Mailani 37 kilometers.
