Bori Wildlife Sanctuary – Introduction
Covering an area of approximately 518 square kilometers, the Bori wildlife sanctuary is a majestic place to visit for the nature lovers. Located on the southern slopes of the Satpura ranges in Madhya Pradesh, it a major tourist attraction for its tiger reserve.
It is spread over Panchmarhi and Hoshangabad District of Madhya Pradesh, India.

The major flora found in Bori wildlife sanctuary includes Sal, Bija, Salaia, Bel, Zizphus Helicteres, Palas, Hiwar, Bel, Khair, Tendu, Teak, Dhawda, Babul, Terminenalia species, Bambo, etc. The commonly found shrubs are varieties of Casia Auriculata, Isora, Solanium Giganteum, Vitex Nigundo, Lantna etc.
The fauna in Bori wildlife sanctuary is also quite remarkable. The major attraction is the tiger. The most commonly found species include Hyaena, Chital, Panther,Samber, Barking deer, , Bear Chinkara, Blue Bull, Bison, Wildbore, FossilsTiger, Four-horned antelope, Wild Dog, Wolf, Crocodile, etc.
