City Palace:
This magnificent palace was started by Maharana Udai Singh II. This is the largest palace complex of Rajasthan. A visit to this majestic palace will let you marvel at the glittering granite and marble which was used to construct the palace. You will be amazed to see that the Palace is majestically placed on the Pichola Lake. The main gates to the palace are named 'Hathi Pol', 'Bara Pol' and Tripolia gate'. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake from the many enclosures inside the palace. You should visit the 'mahals' too, which include the 'Barri Mahal' (Garden Palace) which has a garden and twin water tanks, Dilkhush Mahal (Palace of Joy) renowned for its frescoes, 'Moti Mahal' (Pearl palace) decorated with mirrors, 'Mor Chowk' (Peacock Courtyard) a visual delight in glass laid mosaics of peacocks which decorate its walls. The 'Chini Chitrasala' is remarkable for its blue and white ceramics, 'Manak Mahal' (Ruby Palace) with figures of porcelain and glass and 'Zenana Mahal' are some of them.

Lake Pichola Lake Pichola:
This is a wonderful lake which gives you a magnificent view. This enchanted lake is beautifully surrounded by hills, embankments, bathing ghats, shrines and palaces. The lake was expended further by Maharana Udai Singh II after he founded the city. You will be amazed to see that nearly 5 Kms in length and 3 Kms in width, the magnificence of the lake is enhanced by beautiful Lake Palaces, Jag Niwas and the Jag Mandir. You can also enjoy a cruise in the motor boat to the lake as well as Jag Niwas Palace.

Lake Palace:
This amazing palace was previously known as Jag Nivas palace. it was build in 1746 by Maharana Jagat Singh II as a summer residence of the rulers. Marvel at the beautiful white-marble and granite building which stands in the middle of the Pichola Lake. You will be fascinated to see that the area covers 4 acres of land and gives an exemplifying look at the Mughal-Rajput architecture. You will also find boats which are available from the jetty and at the base of City Palace Museum.

Fateh Sagar Lake:
This is an artificial lake which will surely leave you speechless. The lake was built in 1678 by Maharana Jai Singh. After heavy rains destroyed it the reconstruction took place under the guidance of Maharana Fateh Singh. The Nehru Park and a fountain are situated amidst the lake.

City Palace Museum:
This is another place you should not miss out. The museum is at the City palace complex. It was built by Udai Singh and extended by subsequent Maharanas. A visit to this museum will let you view the memoirs of archaeology and history with a fascinating collection of coins, portraits of former rulers of Mewar; narrative wall paintings, armoury and a the turban of Khurram (Emperor Shah Jahan).

Saheliyon ki Bari:
This beautiful garden was built by Maharana Sangram Singh. Saheliyon ki Bari or Garden for the Maids of Honour of the queen is located at Saheli Marg on the eastern banks of Lake Fateh Sagar. Here you will find beautiful fountains, pools with delicately chiseled kiosks and elephants in marble. You can also enjoy the view of the delightful Lotus pool and the sitting room which is decorated with paintings and glass mosaics too.
