History
Unlike other existing havelis in Rajasthan that belong to the royal families of Rajasthan, Samode Palace belongs to the family of noblemen, the Rawals of Samode. The story of its formation dates back to half a century ago when the seventeenth prince of the house of Kachhawaha clan of Rajputs namely Prithviraj Singhji of Amber had awarded to Gopal Singhji son who was the 12th son along with the heritable label of Rawal Saheb. These Rawals of Samode served the king’s court of Jaipur for generations as Prime Ministers. It is an awe-inspiring instance of Rajput and Mughal architecture.
In view of the fact that looking after these colossal yet luxuriant mansions as Samode Palace was hard-hitting, the royal Nawabs transformed them into a luxury heritage hotel. It is now one of the superaltive luxury heritage hotels in Rajasthan exceedingly eminent for celebrity weddings, gala reception and other formal gatherings.

The décor of the walls and the ceilings of the interiors of the Sheesh Mahal are smartened up with tiny bits of mirror.
