Yet another appealing temple in the catalog of Pushkar Temples is the 12th century Mahadeva Temple whose structure was immaculately constructed in the 19th century. As the name underscores, this honored place of worship is committed to Lord Shiva representing him with five faces is thoroughly made up white marble. The Mahadeva Temple simply looks electrifying and is the hallowed place of worship for Hindus. According to the famous Hindu folklore, it is whispered that the Gods released a strut with a lotus in its beak and they allowed it to fall on the earth where Lord Brahma was supposed to perform a yagna. The place where the lotus fell was named as Pushkar.
