Introduction and History to Vimala Vashi Temple
Vimala Vashi Temple is a very old temple located in Dilwara is just 2.5 Km from Mount Abu. The temple holds a great importance for Jains. This Vimala Vashi Temple of the Jains has been devoted to the first Jain Tirthankara named Adinath. This striking edifice was constructed by Vimal Shah who had been a minister of Raj Bhimdeo. Here you will also see the clanging idol of Adinath composed of brass and gold. This valued shrine is situated in an open courtyard and is delimited by huge smaller cells.
