Mount Abu receives much of its claim to name and fame due to the popular Dilwara temples situated right at the peak of the hills. Honeymoon Point is positioned on the north east of Nakki Lake in a serene spot, is also recognized as the Anadara Point named after a village called Anadara lying in nearness to the points. It is beautifully located at the altitude of 4000 feet above sea level and presents the tantalizing vista of the setting sun and the desert scenery below. Adjacent to the rock having a figure of a man and woman is held accountable for this romantic namesake (honey moon point).
It is a wonderful place to be at and also offers shopping of charms and bric-a-brac. You can also purchase imprinted statues made of marbles, sandalwood idols, regular food stalls selling lip smacking food items and wooden toys found all over the spot. It is indeed an ideal place for the newly wed spouses who come here in search for peace, solitude and romance. For them the best time to discover the place would be the spring season.
