Introduction
The breathtaking and one of its own kinds is the revered Lakshminath Temple in Jaisalmer wholly devoted to goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of affluence and prosperity along with her husband Lord Vishnu who is known as the preserver in the consecrated and sanctum trinity of all Hindu deities. History
The history of this very Lakshminath temple is very attention-grabbling and motivating. The idols of both these deities are housed inside the Jaisalmer fort and were impeccably formed in year 1494. The hands of a famous Brahmin by the name of Sen Pal Shakdvipi were behind the installation of the idols. Later on, a majestic Maharaja named Ganga Singh Ji took the responsibility of this holy place to develop it and dolled it up more.
Description
Considering the fact, that goddess Laskshmi is given the honor of wealth, still has a fairly ascetic and sober appearance. The temple also acts as a resting place for many electrifying quality paintings much-admired by the onlookers. Even the entryway to the temple's sanctum sanctorum also appears larger-than-life as is decked with an elegant silver framework. It is flamboyant of the brilliant archaeological talent of the great and dexterous artistes.
Last, but not the least, Jain Temples located in the proximity of Lakshminath temples is also the major point of consideration by the voyagers.
