Gardens in Jaipur Rajasthan

The state Rajasthan is famed for its sultry climate and desert land all over the world. The parched land of Rajasthan reminds us of those 'Arabian Nights'. Tourists do not expect any serene imagery about its location as it is all dry everywhere. The existing gigantic Citadels, imposing Palaces and striking monuments put on show the interesting incidents of the times gone by. But, amazingly, Jaipur celebrated as the ‘Pink city’ of Rajasthan also offers some tempting gardens which bring joie de vivre in a dead person.

We should be grateful to the imagination of Maharaja Jai Sawai Singh and his town planner Vidyadhar who thought of making the city pleasurable and beautiful in its facade. These blossoming gardens provide a break to the knotted nerves of the city dwellers. In the list of gardens, the most notable gardens of Jaipur are Vidyadhar Gardens, Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh and Kanak Vrindavan. Some research work is done for our holiday makers for their future reference if ever they make their mind to come to Jaipur.

Vidyadhar Garden: A spectacular garden positioned near the Sisodia Gardens is named after Vidyadhar Bhattacharjee, the chief architect and town schemer who decided to form Jaipur. The fascia of this garden really looks appealing to the bystander’s eyes as is enclosed by the verdant environs and has narrow valleys. The exotic imagery offered by this garden is unparalleled.

Secondly, we have Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh immaculately constructed by its initiator, Raja Sawai Jai Singh. This Bagh was an endowment presented by the Maharaja to his Sisodia Queen from Udaipur in year 1728. The edifice of the Bagh is formed in a typical Mughal Style with the theme of depicting the divine romantic association between Lord Krishna and his adored Radha.

Last we introduce you to Kanak Vrindavan Valley situated in the butte of Nahargarh Hills in the Jaipur. This valley takes you more close to the three eminent garland forts of Jaipur which are Nahargarh Fort, Amber fort and Jaigarh Fort .The striking grandeur of this valley leaves a perpetual impression on the minds of onlookers.
