We have tried our level best in not to miss any momentous monument in a ride to Chittorgarh, Rajasathan. Vijay Stambh, Chittorgarh also well known as the Victory Tower was spotlessly constructed by Rana Kumbha to rejoice his victory over Mahmud Khilji the ruler of Malwa in 1440. The height of this colossal tower is 37-m and is a 9-storied tower with several attached balconies at each story. The advantage of these balconies is that they provide spectacular view of the building inside the fort.
In continuation of enormous monuments of Chittorgarh, we introduce you to the important one the 'Kirti Stambh' also famed as 'Tower of Fame'. This monument is 22-m-high formed in 12th century. The structural design of the monument is ornamented with intricate carvings of Jain deities. It is also well-liked by the Jain devotees and it is devoted to Adinath considered to be the leading leader of Jain Tirthankara.
Some light is also put on the other two commemorative plaques or Chhatris of Jaimal and Kalla which are highly placed in the list of monuments of Chittorgarh.
So, if you are deeply interested in knowing the historical background of origin of monuments nothing can be as advisable as the visit to Chittorgarh monuments.
