Lakes and Gardens in Bundi Rajasthan

Bundi in Rajasthan is an outstanding place which has innumerable forts and palaces, gigantic monuments and other imperial structures. But In spite, of all these chattels, it also has lush green gardens, tranquil lakes and stately environs which captivate the onlooker from top to bottom. Surprisingly, the brilliance of the place is not fully discovered, rather it is outshined by the other spectaculars of the city. But, here our main motive is put some light and draw the attention of the tourist on the excellent ambiance of the place festooned with lakes and gardens.

The Bundi district does not have more lakes to accentuate on. But, yes, there are some lakes and gardens which enhance the overall charm of Bundi and you feel completely arrested. Commencing from Jalit Sagar Lake, it is covered by terraced gardens which has attractive site. Nothing can be best and perfect if you want to flee from the mundane activities from the daily life. It seems that you are sitting in the lap of Jalit Sagar Lake and it will surely rejuvenate your mind, body and soul.

Smriti Kunj, the Sukh Mahal Palace and the Shikar Burj are some other mind blowing creations to lure the guest and bring life and action back in him. In the list of the serene lakes, yet another famous lake in Bundi is the Nawal Sagar. The wonderstruck thing is that as it shares its closeness with the famous Bundi Fort, so we can see the reflection of the fort in the shimmering light of moon and it gives a brilliant view to us. The astonishing temple of Varuna God which is located in the center of the city is half submerged in water and most frequently visited by the devotees.

In the nutshell, we have Raniji ki Baori which is a step well large in size and is well potted. This Raniji ki Baori is empty for years but still is eye-catching for the bystanders because of its massive pillars and arches. The carvings done on these pillars are superb and are would surely impress you.
