As the Bundi district is a less explored district of Rajasthan, similarly the itineraries prepared to discover Rajasthan either do not include Bundi in it or if included then, it gets covered in very less time. Bundi features its immaculate forts, palaces along with exciting sightseeing tours in form of excursions. Our main motive is to emphasis the stimulating excursions which will create a desire to visit the place again and again.
Commencing from, we introduce you to the land of 'Ramgarh' constructed by the 'Poddars'. The land of Ramgarh is very imposing because of some edifices like Chattris, Havelis and Temples. Here, you will see the matchless architectural skills of the Rajastani Craftsmen. These structures resulted as Poddars patronage that showed their fortitude to construct the land more appealing than Churu. The formation of Ramgarh is basically a revenge taken by these Poddars who were badly affected by the heavy duties put by Churu rulers on the trade of wool. So, such harassment incensed the Poddars to form Ramgarh whose entire land is ornamented with glorious buildings.
The walls are decked with paintings having their theme inspired from the Lord Krishna's various aspects of life. Even, the havelis are superbly decorated. It is an immense matter of delight that 'Ramagarh' land has innumerable stunning paintings that can be taken by us for decoration or to gift our near and dear ones. However, the shopping appears fantastic and the items available in the shops are out of this world.
Last, but not the least, Bijolia is another striking excursion mainly features its temples. These temples were built some centuries before. Unfortunately, most of these temples have lost their charm but, some are still standing as a great attraction for the onlookers. In Hindu Temples, Undeshwar temple is a center of discussion among the devotees. The pillars, walls and ceilings of the temple are extraordinary. Whereas, Ganesha temple and Jain Temple are the authentic examples of art and have immense historical worth.
So, excursion in form of temples is the best for those who have great religious bent of mind.
