Devi-kund in Bikaner, Rajasthan is a spectacular world class model of architectural sensation of the times of yore. Devi Kund has several such Chattris of Bika rulers constructed at the same point where they got killed during war and cremated afterwards. The cenotaphs of the royal adult men are white colored structures covering with 'Stela' standing in an erected manner and getting their names engraved on them. Whereas, for royal wives are canopied structures covering a horizontal plaque with a pair of footprints mostly marked with green colored henna patterns drawn on the feet for a marriage ceremony or for some festival.

One can easily cover the distance to reach this unusual place by major transportation such as airways, roadways and railways. Also note one thing that some small transportation systems like rickshaws, auto rickshaws and taxis are also available from Bikaner. But, being a holidaymaker, we will advise you to reach the place by enjoying the camel ride from the nearest places.

On a sightseeing tour to this place, you must take a round to Maharaja Surat Singh Ki Chattri which is regarded as the most mind blowing structures as is marvelously covered with colored murals and lively small paintings which are treat to your eyes. Stela within king's Chattri pays a reverence to Lord Vishnu and 'Garuda' considered as Lord’s carrier is bent under his left hand. The place is a tourist place with the fact that it dishes up Bikaneri bhujia and Bikaner sweetmeats specially prepared with thick and delicious camel milk. Its one sip makes us fresh and brings water in our mouth. Nevertheless, the markets in Bikaner have embroidered quilts, ghagras, camel leather goods and some other small and big paintings.
