When ever we talk about the religious places of Ajmer, what strikes to us is the very renowned 'Ajmer Sharif or Dargah Sharif' which catches the attention of those tourists who have deep religious bent of mind. This holy place became a significant place when Khwaja in his last days locked himself in a room for six long days to leave his immortal body in isolation. At the festive time of annual Urs, each and every part of Dargah gets adorned to its best which lures ample of tourists. Dargah bazaar acts as a gateway to the Dargah which leads the visitors to the inner courtyard. The inner courtyard is beautifully decorated with two huge cauldrons with capacity of 2240 kg and 4480 Kg. These cauldrons are mainly used to cook, 'Kheer' on special occasions which gets circulated among the visitors.
