Introduction
The Shyonarayan Kyal Haveli Laxmangarh is one of the most famed havelis in Shekhawati region and is illustrious in the map of Rajasthan. Rajputs were chiefly influenced by the miniature art of painting of the Mughals who were inspired from the Persian and Chinese tradition of miniature designs, decked out their monuments and tombs with miniature floral patters with tiles. As far as the town of Laxmangarh is concerned, it was formed in the year of 1862 and was previously celebrated as Bergaon village, capital of Meel Jats- a Rajput clan.
History
The Shyonarayan Kyal Haveli Laxmangarh is one of the superlatively potted havelis in Laxmangarh spotlessly established by a very high-flying businessman namely Shyonarayan Kyal in the 19th century. This place also served as the dwelling of the massive Kyal family. The ‘Kyals’ were extremely distinguished businessman and were highly venerated family in the locality.
Description
Behind the polished Rathi Family Haveli, a small distance to the east is the luminous Shyonarayan Kyal Haveli, which dates from approximately 1900. While traveling in and around this haveli, you will see some tour de forces of painting such as painting portraying a man and woman affianced in a close rendezvous while a maidservant stick by with a glass of wine all prepared. Some other paintings are consisted of those of a woman praising herself in a mirror and Europeans being pinched by horses with a minute coachman at the joystick.
