History
The historical set up of Narudin Farooqi Haveli Jhunjhunu tells that it belonged to the affluent Farooqi family in Jhunjhunu of erstwhile era. Copious of these glorious havelis have been modernized into heritage hotels by their owners and some are lying under the supervision of their masters due to the rising cost of maintenance and also because of the fact that their families to whom these havelies belonged to have already been migrated to other unknown areas.
Description
The Narudin Farooqi Haveli in Jhunjhunu is the chattel of the then Muslim family and deserves a special mention because of its embellished frescos and murals within the haveli, show distinctive Mughal influence. It has theme of flower-patterned with a preponderance of blue color- much like the décor of interiors of Mughal memorials which resemble with designs in tiles and montage.
The Narudin Farooqi Haveli, Jhunjhunu is also admired because of its remarkable architectural style. It opens up with a vast, carved wooden gate that paves the way to a courtyard. Further, this courtyard leads to rooms that are made in accordance of long running corridors.
