Introduction
The prefecture of Rajasthan is very exotic and is regal in its own style. Rajasthan is a land of chivalrous but, yet, romantic Rajputs who believed in marrying more than one bride. The state of Rajasthan is situated in the foot hills of Aravallis. Its wealth are old forts and monuments. Many stories are heard about the rajas and maharajas of that time. The state was formed on 30th March in year 1949 and depicts the true color of heroism. Travelling in Rajasthan will give a traveler an unusual experience as everything it holds is breathtaking, impressive and attractive.
History of Rajasthan
Rajasthan, truly to be called the ‘Paradise of Deserts’ has many things to offer to its tourists, as every palace and monuments has some story linked with it. Some were made in the memory of their beloved ones. Some has gallantry association. For Eg a very famous Hindi movie ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ is the true example of historical background of the state. As the rajas of that time were considered to be most romantic so, we could see the glimpse of their charming alliance with their ranis in the form of ‘Mehals’ especially built for them. The other districts of the state are Bikaner, Jodhpur and Jaipur which enhance its over all charisma. Some old people still talk about the old gallantry stories of Rajputs. Due to the dry and harsh climate of this region, many nomads left their homes with desert and its history in their heart. The wanderers move to the distant places from Rajasthan region but did not forget their Rajasthani culture. Since past, It is evident that the state has played an important role in improving the monetary growth of India as, it has always been tourist favorite place.
