Culture of Rajasthan
As, we know that the land of Rajasthan is an influential land of Rajas and Maharajas of that time. The area of Rajasthan region is exotic. The place and its people are still carrying its old rich cultural heritage which is now mixed with modern developments. The language of the state is very striking as they mostly speak in ‘Rajasthani.’ But, still some areas have the population speaking in Hindi.
The people of Rajasthan are very colorful and love to enjoy themselves on the tunes of the folk dances. Some of the folk dances of the state are Kalbeliya Dance of Jaisalmer and Ghoomar Dance which belongs to Udaipur. The land of Rajasthan also booms with the touching bhajans of Meera Bhai.
Here, you will be surprised after seeing the great artistic sense of the people of Rajasthan. People are involved in making handlooms, paintings and handicrafts. Not even, the travelers from India, but, also from the other countries of the world really like such authentic pieces of arts made by them and they appreciate their work in their talks after going back to their country.
Some of the most notable works of the localities of Rajasthan are Zari Embroidery, Tie and Dye Prints, lock Prints, Bagaru Prints and Sanganer Prints which are unusual and make us feel proud of the state.
