The description of Block Printing depicts that it is segregated into two categories, the Sanganeri and Bagru prints. Though both these do not have any major dissimilarity but yes the only way to find difference is from the color of the background of the Fabric marks. The Sanganeri prints are beautified by using white color on the background whereas the Bagru prints are done in essence of the red and black background. Bunta is the name that is given to the wooden blocks chiefly used for Block Printing and they are of unusual shapes and sizes and their base has the blueprint carved on it. The fabric which is used to perform this craft form is absolutely washed free of starch before the professionals apply printing on it. It is always done from left to right with standard colors such as brown, red, orange, black, brown, and mustard. Once the Block Printing is applied on the cotton fabric, it is supposed to be dried out in the shade of sun to make it look natural and bouncy.
