Badnore Fort Bhilwara Rajasthan

Introduction
Bhilwara is beautifully positioned at the distance of about 600 Km from Delhi in Mewar region of Rajasthan. The name of this district is influenced by the predominance of Bhils in earlier times alleged to be established over 900 years ago in the middle of the 11th century. It came into picture when a Bhil clannish constructed a Shiva Temple at the spot of the existing Jataun ka Mandir.

The Badnore Fort, Bhilwara is a very magnificent fort having seven storeys lies 70 km from Bhilwara, on the Bhilwara-Asind Road. Even today, when the times have changed, the Badnore Fort in Bhilwara is one of the most stunning Forts and Palaces in Rajasthan.

History
Parmar king Badna in 845 B.C of Badnore kept the foundation of this quaint little village located in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. Formerly, it was also known by the name Vardhanpur. Much folklore is associated with Badnore district. It is said that it remained under the supremacy of the victor till the time Mughals came into picture and captured it. Mirabai who is renowned as the prolific poetess and Rao Jaimal who was the grandson of Rao Dudaji are the illustrious figures who ever born on the land of Badnore. Above and beyond, a 2000 year old inscription was exhumed from this place recently which is a proof in itself that the town had also been a great trading center.

Description
Badnore Fort Bhilwara is an exceptional building whose structural designing characterizes the medieval Indian military style of architecture. While looking at this magnum opus of art, you will be dumfounded to see this seven storyed fort standing at the top of a hill and presenting awe-inspiring vista everywhere. While covering the arena of Badnore Fort, you will also see numerous small monuments and sanctified holy places inside the precincts of Badnore Fort. Entire edifices housed within Badnore are constructed on the same outline of time-honored Rajputana style of architecture, which is a restricted disparity of the wide-ranging Hindu style of architecture.

Last but not the least, despite the fact that Badnore Fort Bhilwara is in ruins but still its long-established charisma and magnetism hypnotize the bystander completely.
