Destinations Covered: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Gulmarg – Pahalgam - Katra Day 1: Arrive at Srinagar
Our representative meets you at Srinagar airport. Check in to the houseboat/hotel for overnight stay. Best of Jammu and Kashmir Tour begins.
Day 2: Srinagar
After breakfast on day 02 of your tour of Jammu and Kashmir, you visit the Mughal Gardens, Chashmi-e Shahi, Nishat and Shalimar Bagh. In the afternoon, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Overnight at houseboat/hotel. Day 02 of tour to Jammu and Kashmir ends.
Day 3: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar (168 km
) After breakfast on day 03 of the tour of Jammu and Kashmir, there is an optional excursion to Sonmarg. Enjoy a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier here. Return to the houseboat/hotel by evening for overnight stay.
Day 4: Srinagar - Gulmarg (56 km)
After breakfast, head for Gulmarg. On arrival, check-in at hotel. After lunch, enjoy a pony ride and also a Gondola (cable car) ride to Khilanmarg. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Gulmarg - Pahalgam
After breakfast, head for Pahalgam. On arrival, check-in at hotel and have lunch. Overnight at hotel. Day 05 of Best of Jammu and Kashmir Tour ends.
Day 6: Pahalgam
After breakfast, there is an optional pony ride around Pahalgam. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Pahalgam - Katra
On day 07 of your travel to Jammu and Kashmir, after breakfast, drive to Katra. On arrival, check-in at hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8: Katra
After an early breakfast, start your yatra (journey) to Vaishno Devi Temple. Return to hotel in the evening and spend the night there. Day 08 of tour to Jammu and Kashmir ends.
Day 9: Jammu Departure
After breakfast, depart for Jammu airport or railway station to board scheduled flight/train to onward destination or back home. Best of Jammu and Kashmir Tour ends today.
