Day 1: Arrive at Srinagar
At Srinagar airport, you will meet our representative who will take you to the houseboat. Your Kashmir and Ladakh tour begins here. Enjoy your stay at the houseboat. Afternoon free for personal activities. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Spend the night at the houseboat.
Day 2: Srinagar
Day 02 of your tour to Ladakh and Kashmir is for local sightseeing. You will visit two famous Mughal Gardens - Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. These gardens are a must visit during your travel trip to Ladakh and Kashmir. Back to the houseboat for lunch. After lunch, Shikara ride on Dal Lake. It is the main attraction of Kashmir and Ladakh tour. Overnight at houseboat.
Day 3: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
Day 03 of Ladakh and Kashmir tour package comprises visit to Gulmarg (112 km from Srinagar). Stay at this beautiful resort for the whole day. Enjoy a cable car or Gondola ride from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg in the evening. Return to the houseboat for the night.
Day 4: Srinagar – Sonmarg - Kargil
Leave early in the morning, head towards Sonmarg (2740 meters). From there, drive to Drass. It is the second coldest destination in the world and an inhibited place. Stop here some time for tea and snacks. After a passport check, another 2½ drive from Drass takes you to Kargil (2710 meters). Stay for the night at the hotel. Day 04 of Kashmir and Ladakh tour ends.
Day 5: Kargil – Leh
Ladakh and Kashmir tour package today takes you to Leh (235 km from Kargil). Leave early morning and head towards Leh. Halt midway at Mulbek village, Lamayuru, the oldest monastery and at Nimu village. On arrival at Leh (3500 meters), stay at the hotel for the night.
Day 6: Leh
Day 06 will be spent in Leh. Morning free for personal activities. At noon, after lunch at hotel, proceed towards the three Gompas - Phyang, Shanker and Spituk Gompa. Return to the hotel for the night.
Day 7: Leh – Khardongla Pass – Leh
On day 07 of Kashmir and Ladakh tour, head towards Khardongla Pass (85 km). It is the highest motorable pass in the world and finds mention in the Guinness Book of World Records also. Late afternoon, drive back to Leh. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Leh – Delhi
Your Kashmir and Ladakh tour ends today. Depart for the airport to board flight to Delhi from where you continue journey to onward destination or back home.
