Day 01: Cochin
Exotic kerala Tour begins with the arrival at Cochin where one of the Indian Horizon executive will greet you and escort you to the pre booked hotel. After some rest enjoy the sightseeing tour of the commercial capital of Kerala where you can see one of the oldest churches, buildings, historic sights and monuments. Enjoy visit to Jewish Synagogue, Portuguese houses, cantilevered Chinese Fishing Nets etc. In the evening enjoy the cultural performances of the state. Dinner and over night stay at Hotel.
Day 02: Cochin- Periyar
After breakfast, check out and take a scenic drive to Thekkady through the valley of the Cardamom Hills. Periyar (Thekkady) Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the well maintained wildlife sanctuaries of South India. Enjoy a trekking trip to Kerala through the forest, spreading spice plantations etc.
Day 03: Periyar
After breakfast visit The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, enjoy jeep or elephant safari to see the exotic flora and fauna of the sanctuary. Return back to the hotel and enjoy rest of the day at leisure.
Day 04: Periyar- Kumarakom
After breakfast, check out and drive down the valley to reach the small backwater village of Kumarakom. Kumarakom slumbers on the banks of the famous Vembanad Lake, is a part of Kuttanad (‘granary’ of Kerala). The Vembanad Lake with its majestic canals, streams and distributaries along its banks, weave an intricate and enchantingly beautiful web. The bird sanctuary here is an ornithologist’s paradise and a favorite haunt of migratory birds. Check in at a backwater resort. Enjoy your afternoon leisurely. Overnight at Hotel
Day 05: Kumarakom
The next destination of Exotic Kerala Tour is Kumarakom. After morning tea and breakfast the day is free to relax in the backwater cruises and enjoy the houseboat stay in them. You can also try out an Ayurveda massage. Overnight at Hotel
Day 06: Kumarakom- Marari
Take your break fast and check out for a drive to Marari, a small fishing village in Alleppey district where life still goes on much as it did a hundred years ago, with the men going out to sea each day to earn a living. Completely new to the holidaymaker, Marari offers endless miles of superb sand beaches backed by swaying palms, virgin territory where you can experience the local charm and traditional Kerala hospitality at its best. Check in at a beach resort for 01 night. Enjoy your afternoon leisurely.
Day 07: Marari- Cochin
On time transfer to Cochin Airport to connect departure flight for onward destination. With this the exotic Kerala Tour comes to an end.
