Day 01: Arrival Chennai
The cool south India tour begins with arrival at Chennai where you will be greeted with vermillion and garlands, the traditional welcome given to the guests. One of our representatives will greet you and escort you to the pre booked hotel for rest. Enjoy the afternoon sight seeing of Chennai by visiting to Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral, Kapaleeswar Temple, Govt. Museum and Art Gallery. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Madras - Mahabalipuram
Drive to Mahabalipuram via Kancheepuram. At Kancheepuram Visit the temples and Silk Weaving centers. On arrival at Manhabalipuram, check in at beach resort for some rest. After lunch enjoy the sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram that includes Five Rathas ,Shore temple, Arjuna's penance and Krishna Mandapram all built in the Dravidian temple architecture which dates back to 7th century AD. Over night stay at the resort.
Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Pondichery
Drive to Pondicherry the French Settlement in India. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Visit Aurobindo Ashram, Matrimandir in the afternoon. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Pondicherry - Tanjore
Later leave Pondicherry by surface for Tanjore. En route visit Chidambaram Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. On arrival at Tanjore, check in at the hotel. In the evening visit the imposing Brihadeswara Temple, Tanjore palace and Veena making centre. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Tanjore-Trichy-Madurai
Later drive to Madurai, the city of the largest living Temple of South India via Trichy. En route visit the Srirangam and Rock Fort Temples at Trichy. On arrival at Madurai, check in at hotel for dinner and over night stay.
Day 06: Madurai Sightseeing
After breakfast enjoy the sightseeing at Madurai and visit its most famous landmarks that includes Meenakshiamman temple, Tirumalai Nayak Palace and Azhagar Koil. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07: Madurai – Munnar
After a hearty breakfast, head out towards the hill station of Munnar dotted with picturesque tea and spice plantations. After a short rest at the hotel, another round of sightseeing begins that includes Mattupetty, Indo Swiss cattle project, Rajamalai and Eravikulam National Park. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08: Munnar – Kodaikanal
The next destination of cool South India tour is Kodaikanal. Experience the scenic beauty of Kodaikanal up close by talking going through the walking trails around the resort. Visit to the Bryant Park, Coakers Park, Green Valley View and Pillar Rocks that offer stunning views of the sprawling hill slopes of Kodaikanal. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09: Kodaikanal – Ooty
Ooty the most traveled destination of South India is our next stop over. On arrival check into the pre booked hotel for some rest. Later enjoy the sightseeing tour of Ooty that includes Ooty Lake, Botanical Gardens and Rose Garden. After some shopping, retire to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10: Ooty - Coimbatore
Spend the last day of Cool South India in Coimbatore exploring its various tourist attractions before boarding a flight back to your home or another destination in India.
