Destinations Covered: Delhi- Rishikesh- Joshimath- Govindghat – Ghangaria- Valley of flowers
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
The Valley of flower tour begins with the arrival at Delhi. One of Indian Horizon representative will receive you and escort you to the hotel. Take some rest and enjoy the sightseeing tour of Delhi covering Rajghat, Red Fort, Old fort, Lotus Temple etc.
Day 02: Delhi – Rishikesh
Leave Delhi for Rishikesh. Visit Lakshman jhula, Ram jhula and attend Ganga Aarti at one of the Ashram. Over night stay at hotel.
Day 03: Rishikesh- Joshimath
Next morning after breakfast leave for Joshimath. En route, stop at Devprayag to witness the confluence of river Alaknanda and Bhagirathi. Reach the Joshimath by evening and check in the camp/hotel.
Day 04: Joshimath - GovindGhat - Ghangaria Trek
Leave for Govindghat by road after breakfast. From Govindghat treks down to Ghangaria the base camp for the Valley of Flowers. Reach Ghangaria late in the afternoon and stay overnight.
Day 05: Ghangaria - Valley of Flowers - Ghangaria
Leave Ghangaria after breakfast for valley of flowers which is a 3km trek on one side. Enjoy and explore the beauty of rare Himalayan flora and fauna. By the afternoon trek back to Ghangaria. Over night stay at hotel/camp.
Day 06: Ghangaria- Govindghat- Joshimath
Trek from Ghangariya to Govindghat, Drive from Govindghat to Joshimath, overnight stay at Joshimath.
Day 07: Joshimath to Rishikesh
After morning breakfast ,drive back from Joshimath to Rishikesh. On arrival have dinner and overnight stay at Rishikesh.
Day 08: Rishikesh- Delhi
Next morning after hefty breakfast depart for Delhi. With this the Valley of flowers tour comes to an end.
