Day 01 Arrive Delhi
The Roop Kund Trekking tour begins with the arrival at Delhi where you will be received by one of our representative to transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and over night stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Rishikesh
Next morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh. By the afternoon arrive at Rishikesh and transfer to the pre booked hotel. After dinner meet the crew followed by briefing on the Trek. Over night stay at hotel.
Day 03: Rishikesh -Deval
After morning breakfasts drives to Deval and en route have lunch at Karanprayag. The entire drive is along Alaknanda River up to karanprayag after which the road goes along the Pinder River, coming from Pindari glacier. Arrive at Deval where camps are arranged for you. Dinner and over night stay at camp.
Day 04: Deval - Mandoli –Wan- Bedni Bugyal
In the morning drive to Mandoli and from Mandoli drive 10 km to Wan which is the road head for the trek. Today we will trek 11 km to reach Bedni Bugyal, probably one of the best camping sites in the Garhwal Himalayas. Dinner and over night stay in tents.
Day 05: Bendi Bugyal
It is a charming green meadow adorned with flowers and has a small lake situated in the midst of the meadow where Tarpans are offered by the visitors. Also visit a small temple located near to it. Enjoy rest of the day at Bendi Bugyal for acclimatization. Over night in tents.
Day 06: Bedni Bugyal - Bagubassa
After breakfast trek to Bagubassa the place is blessed with variety of flowers including the rare Bhram Kamal. It is a special godly lotus found only between the altitudes of 14000 - 15000 ft. The whole trek to Bagubassa is 10 km long and takes about 4-5 hrs to reach it. Reach the camp site of Bagubassa for overnight stay.
Day 07: Bagubassa - Roopkund - Bedni Bugyal
Bhagubasa to Roopkund is easy walking in the flat but in moron. The trek to Roopkund, passes through delightful alpine pasture lands and snow fields, offering magnificent views of the Trisul, Nanda Ghunti, Badrinath peaks when the snow melts, human and equine skeletons remains can be seen. Some of them with flesh attached. These remains have been preserved in the alpine condition for centuries. It is believed that these are the remains of about 300 persons who died about 500 -600 years ago. The trek takes about 3 to 4 hrs to reach Roopkund. After exploring the area we trek to Juragali Pass from here trek to Sslasamdra which is very steep. Camp at Silasamudr situated at the bas of Trishul peak which is 7,142 m above the sea level. Meals and over night stay at the camp.
Day 08: Silasamudra- Homkund - Chadania Ghat Trek
Morning after breakfast we trek to homkund, the finishing point of "Nanda Devi -Raj Jat Yatra, which is celebrated after every twelve years. Gradually ascent Homkund and arrive at Chandania Ghat for Camp.
Day 09: Chandania Ghat
Enjoy the whole day at leisure and nature walks. Meals and overnight tents.
Day 10: Chandania Ghat -Sutol Trek
Morning after breakfast we trek to Sutol. Today the trek is almost flat or down hill. Arrive Sutol and camp. Meals and over night stay at camp.
Day 11: Sutol -Ghat Trek
Today we trek to Ghat an easy but long trek to reach it. Meals and over night camp.
Day 12: Ghat- Rishikesh Drive
Morning after breakfast, drive to Rishikesh. On arrival transfer to the hotel for dinner and over night stay.
Day 13: Rishikesh- Delhi
After morning breakfast drive to Delhi and transfer to International airport to board your flight back home. With this the difficult but the most adventurous Trekking tour to Roop Kund comes to an end.
