Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive in India's bustling capital city of Delhi, where you are greeted with a traditional Indian welcome and escorted to the hotel. Over night stay at Delhi.
Day 02: In Delhi
Day 04: Lucknow
Next morning enjoy the sightseeing tour of Delhi that shows the contrasting images of Old and New Delhi. Visit various places of this capital city the construction of which is influenced by various dynasties and eras. The tour includes classical Secretariat buildings, Parliament House and Presidential Palace flanking Vijay Chowk, See India Gate etc. Enjoy a cooking demonstration followed by lunch. The food of Delhi is famous for its spices and variety and is a haven for Food lovers. Donít forget to visit Old Delhi which is the hub for food lovers. Donít forget to pamper your taste buds with Karimís Role and Nizamís Kathi Kababs. Over night stay in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Lucknow
Next morning after breakfast depart by air for Lucknow. Arrive at Lucknow and transfer to hotel and check-in. After some rest proceed for sightseeing tour of Lucknow. Stop for Lunch at a local restaurant called "Royal Cafe". Continue the city tour. Dinner at the restaurant of Taj Residency also known as "Oudhyana" renowned for its Awadhi dishes and flavors. Overnight at Lucknow
Late morning proceed for cooking demo at Nawab's residence. Lunch at Nawab's place . Enjoy the demonstration of world famous Dum Pukht and specially designed Carte du Jour of Awadhi cuisine and is followed by the city sight seeing tour.
Day 05: Lucknow
Morning city tour of Lucknow includes the Residency with its poignant memories of the Indian Mutiny. Visit the amazing Mango Tree with a reputed 300 varieties grafted onto one main tree. Late afternoon meet with Lucknowís Royal family and learn about the techniques used in this creative cuisine.
Day 06: Lucknow to Agra
After breakfast board a train to Agra. On arrival enjoy rest of the day at leisure. Over night stay at Sheraton Hotel.
Day 07: Agra
Next morning at early sunrise visit to the breathtaking Taj Mahal, an unsurpassed expression of love. Later on follow the demonstration of Mughlai dishes given by the master chef of the hotel. In the afternoon visit the Taj Mahal and impressive Agra Fort. In the evening dinner will echo the dishes discussed during the day.
Day 08: Agra -Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast drive to Fatehpur Sikri the magnificent deserted capital city of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Reach Jaipur via the Chokhi Dhani for a traditional Rajasthani welcome and dinner. Over night stay at Samode Haveli.
Day 09: Jaipur sightseeing
Enjoy morning elephant ride to the imposing Amber Fort and city tour of Jaipur including the City Museum, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar etc. By the afternoon drive to Pachewargarh Fort. A member of the family will talk on various customs and culture of the region - followed by a traditional dinner.
Day 10: Pachewargarh
Help cook a Rajasthani breakfast this morning. Simple dishes will be demonstrated in the kitchen. Later visit a nearby village, where traditional cooking techniques will be shown. Return to the hotel kitchen and cook local dishes for your dinner. After dining relax listening to local folk music.
Day 11: Pushkar
After breakfast drive to Pushkar. Afternoon visit to Pushkar Lake - wander the Bathing Ghats and ancient Temples. Pushkar is a sacred Hindu site and home to the only Temple dedicated to Brahma. Over night stay at Pushkar Palace Hotel.
Day 12: Delhi
After breakfast visit to Ajmer Sheriff the ancient Holy shrine of Shiekh Salim Ud Din Chisti. In the afternoon board a train for Delhi. Dinner on board. On arrival, transfer to International airport for onward journey. With this the culinary tour of North India comes to an end.
