Tibet (3500 m) can truly be described as the roof of the world. Lying to the north of the great Himalayan range, much of the country is high-altitude desert. With its spectacular mountain scenery and rich Buddhist culture, Tibet is indeed a remarkable place to visit. From Kathmandu this exciting tour starts with a Flight to Lhasa and then an overland journey and trek through some of the most amazing landscapes on Earth. The country is speckled with small settlements and nomadic herdsmen amidst wide arid plains all with awe-inspiring mountain peaks as a backdrop. There is a wealth of culture to experience in the towns as you pass through. This trek takes you as close to the summit of Everest as any non-climber can go. The classical trek to Everest begins from Tingri crossing over the Lamna - La pass (5060m) to Dza-Rongphu that continues to the Forbidden City of Lhasa.

Day 02 : Kathmandu - Lhasa
Morning after breakfast transfer to the airport to board flight for Lhasa. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Lhasa

Day 03 : Lhasa - Gyantse
Morning after breakfast drive to Gyantse enroute Yamdrok-Tso Lake. Overnight at Gyantse

Day 04 : Gyantse - Shigatse
Morning after breakfast drive to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse

Day 05 : Shigatse - Xegar
Morning after breakfast drive to Xegar. Overnight at Xegar

Day 06 : Xegar - Rongphu
Morning after breakfast drive to Rongphu. Overnight at Rongphu

Day 07 : In Rongphu
Early morning excursion to Everest Base Camp (5200 m). Return to Rongphu for camping. Overnight at Rongphu

Day 08 : Rongphu - Dza - Rongphu
Morning after breakfast trek to Dza-Rongphu (4920m). Overnight at Dza-Rongphu

Day 09 : Dza - Rongphu - Zomphu
Morning after breakfast trek to Zomphu enroute Lamna-La Pass (5060m). Overnight at Zomphu

Day 10 : Zomphu - Nomad's
Morning after breakfast trek to Nomad's. Overnight at Nomad’s

Day 11 : Nomad’s - Lungjhang
Morning after breakfast trek to Lungjhang. Overnight at Lungjhang

Day 12 : Lungjhang - Tingri
Morning after breakfast trek to Tingri. Overnight at Tingri
