Introduction about Mannanpurathkavu, Nileshwar : The Mannanpurathkavu, Nileshwar is a beautiful temple where the worship of the Goddess Durga is conducted in all earnestness. A sect called Piradar performs the daily poojas. Another key feature of this temple is the performance of the Kurathi which involves the sacrifice of the cocks.
