Introduction about Malanada Ketukazhcha : The Malanada Ketukazhcha is a unique annual festival which attracts thousands of devotees across the country. The uniqueness of the festival lies in the fact that the temple which is the official stage for the occasion is the one for Duryodhana, who according to the great epic Mahabharata was one of the antagonist cousins of Pandavas.
Description: During the month of March, Adoor in Kollam district of Kerala geared up for the Malanada Ketukazhcha. The festival is a unique in the sense that people celebrate for the cause of Duryodhana, one of the antagonist cousins of Pandavas from the epic of Mahabharata. The festival is a one day affair which includes various folk art performances accompanied with the motifs of bulls and horses along with decorative carts .The main offering at the temple is Toddy.
