Kerala Sahithya Academy: This Cultural Center of Kerala was founded in order to promote the development of Malayalam language and literature. The academy is located near the Town hall. It was inaugurated by Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma, the former king of Travancore, on August 15, 1956. You can visit its library which possesses good collection of books. However this Cultural Center in Kerala works in co-operation with the Kerala Sahitya Academy in New Delhi.

Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy: This Cultural Center in Kerala was established on April 12, 1938. The main aim of this academy is to promote Indian arts and culture such as traditional music, drama and dance. The academy is located close to the Sahitya Academy.

Kerala Lalitakala Academy: This Cultural Centers of Kerala was established in1962. It was founded in order to promote paintings, visual arts and sculpture. The academy is situated quite close to the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy. 

School of Drama: This Cultural Center in Kerala was established at Aranattukara, year 1977. You can apply here for three year course in Bachelor of Theatre Arts- Direction, Acting, and Children’s Theatre etc.

Government College of Fine Arts:

This cultural Center of Kerala is located in Thrissur town. This college is affiliated to University of Calicut. Here you will find subjects such as Arts, printing, Sculpture, and Engraving etc.
