Golf Club:

This beautiful lake is located in the heart of the city. It is an artificial lake lying along with its garden. It was developed in 1893 94 by the Chief Commissioner of Assam, Sir William Ward. Here you can also visit the island in this jigzag shaped lake. A wooden bridge helps for to and fro journey between the island & main-land. There is an arrangement for Joy ride in lake. Also visit the Botanical Garden and the Governor House shaded by pine trees are added attraction of the Ward Lake.

Butterfly Museum:

Crinoline Falls:

Sweet Falls:

This waterfall is a beauty and an important tourist attraction in Shillong. It serves as a lovely picnic spot and offers coziness to the couples.

How to Reach:

By Air: Shillong airport at Umroi connects to only Kolkata. Guwahati is the nearest major airport, which is nearly 100 km away from Shillong.

By Train: Nearest railhead to Shillong is Guwahati, which is at distance of 100 km away.
