Day 01: Arrive Delhi
As you arrive Delhi, you will be received by our representatives. You will then be transferred to the hotel for over night stay.
Day 02: Delhi – Patna – Bodhgaya
Start your day with a delicious breakfast. Post breakfast we take you to the airport to board a flight to Patna. On arrival, you will be transferred to Bodhgaya where the Buddha attained enlightenment and is one of the most sacred pilgrimage place for the Buddhist. Enroute visit Nalanda a great center of Buddhist learning and one of the most famed university citadels of ancient times and Rajgir once the ancient capital of the powerful Kingdom of Maghada. Later we will drive you to Gridhakuta or vultures peak where the Buddha preached. Here the first Buddhist Council was held after the Lord's Mahaparinirvana. On your arrival at Bodhgaya, you are to check into the hotel for over night stay.
Day 03: In Bodhgaya
In the morning, after a hearty breakfast, we take you for a full day sightseeing tour. We take you to visit the Mahabodhi Temple, Niranjana River, Sujata Village. Over night stay at Bodhgaya.
Day 04: Bodhgaya – Patna
Morning, after breakfast, we drive you to Patna. Enroute, enjoy sightseeing of Nalanda and Rajgir. The hills and caves surrounding Rajagriha were home to spiritual teachers, ranging from the materialism of the early Charavaka School to the metaphysics of Upanishad philosophers. On arriving Patna, you are to check into the hotel for over night stay.
Day 05: Patna – Varanasi
Begin your day with a delicious breakfast. After breakfast we transfer to the airport for your flight to Varanasi. On arrival, you are check into the hotel. Over night stay at Varanasi.
Day 06: Varanasi – Sarnath – Kushinagar
Early morning we take you for a boat ride on the river Ganges. You can enjoy the sunrise and the bathing Ghats of an ancient Hindu city. Later we drive you to Kushinagar, enroute sightseeing of Sarnath. On arrival, you are to check into the hotel for over night stay.
Day 07: Kushinagar – Lumbini
Morning, after breakfast, we take you to visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple & Stupas. Later we drive you to Lumbini and transfer to hotel. In the evening we take you for a sightseeing tour of Lumbini including a visit to the birth Place of Lord Buddha. Over night stay at Lumbini.
Day 08: Lumbini – Sravasti – Lucknow
In the morning, after breakfast we drive you to Lucknow. On your way you can visit Sravasti, the capital of the ancient kingdom of Kosala. The city believed to be founded by the mythological king Sravast, has age-old stupas, majestic monasteries and several temples. Buddha is said to have performed some miracles here. In Sravasti visit Saheth - Maheth & Jetvan. Arrive Lucknow and check into the hotel. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Lucknow – Delhi Departure
This is the last day of your tour; therefore start your day with a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, we drive you to the airport to connect the flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, we take you for a half day city tour of Delhi. Late evening, we drive you to the airport for your onward flight.
