Out of the many fascinating monasteries, the Tayul Monastery is a magnificent monument that is located at around 6 km from Keylong in the Bhaga valley. In the 17th century AD, the Tayul Monastery was established by Dogpa Lama, Serzang Richen of Kham region of Tibet. This place has witnessed many tourists of the whole world.
The major attraction of the Tayul Monastery is the 12 feet tall statue of Padmasambhava. Apart from this statue, the hundred million Mani wheels are also a thing to admire. There is also a magnificent library in this monastery, which have a collection of books relating to life of Lord Buddha.
