Goindwal Sahib is one of the beautiful Gurudwaras in Punjab that is located at Goindwal town. This town has its own religious significance as it holds a lot of Gurudwaras. The town called Goindwal lies to the south east of Amritsar. To be more exact, it is 30 Km from Amritsar. The Goindwal Sahib is the pride of the Punjab and it is a major pilgrimage place for the Sikhs.
The main entrance of this Gurudwara is decorated with murals describing
magnificent scenes of Sikh history. There is a community kitchen that serves
food to large number of visitors’ everyday. It was believed that emperor
Akbar had once visited this magnificent Gurudwara.
