The
Bhadurgarh Fort was one of the magnificent forts located about 6km form
Patiala. It was constructed some 123 years ago under the patronage of Nawab
Saif Khan. Later it got completed during Maharaja Karam Singh’s tenure.
The construction of the fort began in the early 1658. The fort consists
of two circular battlements. The outer wall stands to a distance of 110
km apart from the inner wall. The imposing fort of Bhadurgarh stands to
a height of 29 feet. It took 8 years to complete this majestic fort and
it incurred a total of one million rupees.
