Agonda is a three-kilometer long magnificent cove of white sand fringed with palms, casuarinas and subjugated by a large hill to the south. Unlike other beaches in Goa, Agonda does not have any customary souvenir shops and food stalls. Fort of Cebo de Rama is now in ruins but still visited by the travelers for its architectural beauty and grandeur. The absence of local buses makes the communication to Agonda beach a bit harsh as it locates far away from main road. Though the local buses normally ply there but scooter or motors bike are the prime means of transport to the beach. It also gives an element of solitude, as the tourist won’t find much crowd there.
