Fact File: Location : The city of Mangalore is located between the Arabian Sea on one side and the Western Ghats on the other sides. It lies in the tropical region of India. Places of Attractions : Kadri Manjunath Temples : This fascinating temple is a square shrine with a pyramidal roof. You can see the seated idol of Lokeshwara, a three faced figure with six arms. This statue is 1.6 m high and it is made of bronze. Light House Hill Garden : This beautiful garden was believed to be built by Haider Ali in the 18th Century. From this garden, you can witness magnificent view of the sea and the sailing boats. Sultan Bravery : This watch tower was built of black stones and it was constructed by Tipu Sultan. You can witness the arrangements of cannons all around inside this tower.
