Bundi

BundiBundi is a fascinating city in the Hadoti region of Rajasthan. Bundi is famous for the magnificent forts, palaces and architectural note. Bundi is a major city that is 36 km from Kota. Bundi is surrounded by Aravalli Hills from the three sides by the Aravalli Hills and is circumscribed by a massive wall with four gateways. There are many magnificent monuments that include medieval forts, temples, havelis, palaces, and temples.

Location : Bundi city is located in the Hadoti region of Rajasthan. It is 36 km from Kota.

Climate : The temperature of the place varies from 43˚ C to 35˚ C in the summer season. In the winter season the temperature varies from 37.5˚ C to 5˚ C. The temperature of the place remains very pleasant in winter season. So, tourists from different places come to visit the place at this time.

Places of Attractions :
Taragarh or The Star Fort : The Star fort is one of the impressive forts of Rajasthan that was built in 1354. There is a huge reservoir which was used to supply water to the palace.

Ratan Daulat : Ratan Daulat is a fine stable built by Rao Raja Ratan Singh. Nine horses and a Hatia Pol can accommodate in this stable.

Chhattar Mahal or Palace or Towers : You can view rich monument in the fascinating Chhattar Mahal.

Nawal Sagar : Nawal Sagar is an artificial lake. Near it, you can find a temple dedicated to Varuna, the Aryan god of water. You can see the reflection of the entire city and the palaces. This makes Bundi, a unique attractive place.
