Overnight at Delhi Day 02 : In Delhi Morning after breakfast visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Gurudwara Rakabganj, Gurudwara Sisganj, Gurudwara Nanak Pio and Gurudwara Moti Bagh. Overnight at Delhi Day 03 : Delhi - Rishikesh Morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh. On arrival check-into the hotel. Afternoon we would organize a special class with the Yoga Guru. Overnight at Rishikesh Day 04 : Rishikesh - Joshimath Morning after breakfast drive to Joshimath a small town with and the gateway to Hemkund Sahib. Overnight at Joshimath Day 05 : Joshimath - Ghangaria Morning after breakfast drive to Govindghat (1830m) on the true right bank of the Alaknanda River crossing the suspension bridge over the Alaknanda River and commence the steady ascent on the concrete path to the village of Pulana. (2100m). Beyond Pulana continue along the well-defined trail that leads through a mixed forest of oak, rhododendron and spruce and silver fire before winding down to the bridge over the Hem Ganga. The trail ascends steeply at first through the forest before gradually winding across the meadows to Ghangharia. Ghangharia (3050m), also known as Govind Dham, is a large pilgrim complex, having a gurudwara. Overnight at Ghangaria Day
06 : Ghangaria - Hemkunt - GhangariaMorning after breakfast trek to Hemkunt which is the world's highest shrine, situated at an altitude of 4329 mts and on the bank of a glacier lake surrounded by several towering pinnacles of snow, reflected in its clear water. It is believed that Guru Govind Singh, the tenth Guru of the Sikh faith had meditated on the bank of this lake. Overnight at Ghangaria Day 07 : Ghangaria - Valley of Flowers - Ghangaria Morning after breakfast cross the bridge over Hem Ganga and commence the climb to the entrance of the Bhyunder Valley. About 2kms to 3 kms beyond the checkpoint, the trail crosses the stream flowing from the Bhyunder Valley and continues on the true right. The 5 kms climb is more gradual than the one to Hem Kund. On the ascent, the trail enters a gorge before the valley widens. There is a permanent snow bridge over one of the larger side streams. This marks the entrance to the valley. Overnight at Ghangaria Day 08 : Ghangaria - Govindghat - Joshimath Morning after breakfast trek back to Govind Ghat. On arrival to Govindghat drive to Joshimath and check-into the hotel. Overnight at Joshimath Day 09 : Joshimath - Chopta Morning after breakfast drive along the banks of Alaknanda River which is also famous for pilgrimage. Enroute visit Kedarnath Shrine dedicated to Shiva and Badrinath shrine dedicated to Vishnu. The route passes through several small towns & villages providing pretty landscape. Excellent close views of Mt. Chaukhamba (7140 mts) from the camp besides the other panoramic views of Kedarnath group of peaks. Overnight in Chopta Day 09 : In Chopta Morning and evening we organize Yoga Classes. Day free to explore Chopta. Overnight at Chopta Day 10 : Chopta - Dehradun Morning after breakfast drive to Dehradun via Okhimath and Rudraprayag. On arrival check into hotel. Overnight at Dehradun Day 11 : Dehradun - Amritsar Morning after breakfast relax at the hotel. Evening transfer to the railway station to board train for Amritsar. Overnight on board
Day 12 : Arrive AmritsarOn arrival at the railway station Indian Horizons representative would meet you and transfer to the hotel. After fresh-up visit the Golden Temple. Overnight at Amritsar Day 13 : In Amritsar Day free to explore the Historical Town. Overnight at Amritsar Day 14 : Amritsar - Delhi Morning after breakfast transfer to railway station to board train to Delhi. On arrival Indian Horizons representative would meet you and transfer to the airport for onward journey. |
