The site of Dholavira Ruins was inhabited from 2900 BC for about a millennium when it declined towards the 2100 BC. Then it was reoccupied until about 1450. The site was discovered in the 1960s and it now happens to be the fifth largest Harappan site in the Indian subcontinent.
