The Rohtasgarh Fort is situated 39 kms from Sasaram. This fort covers an area of about 4 miles of a plateau. You can find the monumental remains of Sher Shah Suri in Rohtasgarh fort. The Rohtasgarh Fort is considered to be one of the strongest as well as largest hill forts. This fort served as a shelter to many peoples. Sher Shah Suri, Shah Jahan, Man Singh, Mir Qasim have also used this fort. There were 14 main gates to enter in the fort but later on Shar Shah had closed 10 of them.
