Pippala Cave

Pippala Cave is located on the Vibhava Hill, very near to Rajgir in Bihar. The local people of Bihar call it as Jarasandha ki Baithak named after the King Jarasandha. This cave resembles more like a rectangular structured made with stones. The cave has formed as a result of natural forces worked upon the stones.

This cave was a dwelling place for the hermits. A noticeable thing about the cave is that many sages had chosen the Pippala Cave to do their meditation and penance. The reason behind is the peaceful surrounding around the cave. Just below to the Vibhava Hill you can find hot spring that attracts many tourists at the time of availing their tour to Bihar. It is easily accessible through roadways and railways and so the tourists can witness it easily during India tour.
