Trekking Itinerary
Day 01: arrive at Gangtok
Reach Gangtak from Delhi or kolkata by train that comes via Nepal, (4 hours drive to Silliguri to Gangtok).Here you can stay your entire night at hotels.
Day 02: In Gangtok
After your breakfast you can drive to Rumtek Monastery a renowned monument built in 1740. here stay your overnight at hotels.
Day 03: Gangtok to Yuksom
Trip to Gangtok to Yuksom by road offers its travelers for a cool drive on the banks of turbulent Teeesta river and the coronation bridge. Here you stay for a lunch break at Jorethang in sikkim. The place Yuksom is blessed with hotels to meet the needs of its visitor.
Day 04: Yuksom – Tshoka (Alt.3050m)
Trekking fromYuksun to Tshoka is 18 kms and which takes 6 hrs . Tshoka is tiny village rich with forests of pine and yak. Here you can stay your night at tents.
Day 05: Tshoka – Dzoongri (Alt 4020m)
A wild trek from Tshoka to Dzongri may takes 5hrs but it leads you a place called Deorali Dara where you can enjoy the magnificent views of all the mountains. The tourist hut –tent is there offered for you for a safe night stay.
Day 06: In Dzongri
Now the time comes when you are spending your entire day and night at Dzongri. The place is rich with all the magnificent views of peaks, which includes Koktang, Kabru, Ratong, kabru dome and chandra peak.
Day 07: Dzongri to Tshoka
It is time to return track. Alternatively you might get the scope to stay at Bakhim.
Day 08: Tshoka – Yuksom
As it is the last day of your trek so you have to return to Yuksom and stay your night at Yuksom only.
Day 09: Yuksom –NJP
As it is the concluding day of your tour, now you have to go back to NJP by train or flight according to schedule.
