Deccan Odyssey-Coaches
This luxury train has 21 Coaches, out of which 13 coaches are fully air-conditioned. Special facilities are available for physically challenged persons such as wheel chair, special attendants, crèches etc. There are two restaurants and which serves the passengers the best of Indian dishes. You can taste Continental, Maharashtrian, Goa and Chinese cuisines menus in these restaurants. These menus are changed seasonally. The other facilities in the coach includes bar, spa, DVD, plasma T.V., dance floor, 4 twin bed chambers, intercom, channel music, attached toilet, etc.

The train does not runs in the in the months of May, June, July & August. This is because lot of renovation and maintenance of the train is required
Deccan Odyssey Tour Details:
Day 01 - Mumbai ( Wednesday)
On your arrival at Chhatrapati Shivaji Railway Staion, you will receive traditional welcome. The departure time of the train for Bhoke is 1600 hrs. In the night, dine in the luxury train.
Day 02 - Jaigadh, Ganapatipule, Ratangiri (Thursday)
The train will arrive at Bhoke Railway Station in the early morning. Then go for a water cruise to reach Jaigad fort. Then travel by bus to reach the exotic beach along the Konkan coast. Have your lunch at Ganapatipule beach resort. Afternoon, visit to Ratnagiri town and view some fascinations like Lokmanya Tilak Smarak, Ratnadurg Fort. Then do shopping in Ratnagiri Bazar. Get back to the train to continue your journey.
Day 03 - Sindhudurg, Tarkarli, Sawantwadi (Friday)
On your arrival at at Sindhudurg Nagari Railway station, go to Malvan Jetty to witness Sindhudurg Sea Fort. Then at Tarkarli enjoy your free time, water cruise and lunch at Tarkarli beach resort. Proceed to Sawantwadi railway station, in the late evening.

04 - Goa (Saturday)
The train will arrive at Karmali in the early morning. Travel by bus to old Goa to witness fascinations like Basilica De Born Jesus, Se Cathedral, Se Cathedral and the Church of St. Francis of Assissi, archaeological museum and many antiques. Back to the train to continue your onward journey
Day 05 - Kolhapur, Pune (Sunday)
The train will arrive at Kolhapur in the early morning. Here in this city, you can visit the New Palace, Bhawani Mandap-town hall and can witness traditional Martial Art locally known as "Mardani Khel". Mahalaxmi Temple and the Shalini Palace built of intricately carved black stone & Italian Marble stands on the west side of Lake Rankala. Enjoy in the cultural program and then come back to the train to continue your journey.
Day 06 - Aurangabad (Monday)
The train will arrive at Aurangabad, in the morning. In this city you can see historical fort Daulatabad. Also view the Ellora caves, having 34 cave temples dedicated to three different religions- Hinduism, Buddhism & Jainism a world heritage site. Come back to the train to continue your journey on Deccan Odyssey. 
Day 07 - Ajanta & Nashik (Tuesday)
The train arrives at Jalgaon railway station in the morning. Today view Fardapur resort and the Ajanta Caves. In fact, this Cave is older than the Ellora caves. Back to Deccan Odyssey train to continue the journey.
Day 08 - Wednesday – Mumbai
Today in the early morning, the train arrives to Mumbai. With this the seven day splendour tour of Deccan Odyssey ends today.

If any passenger undertakes the day program at Goa & Mumbai, he will be charged an extra of $ 100 USD per person. The Indian passengers should pay equivalent amount of Indian Rupees against the US dollar.
Tariff Inclusive : The tariff includes travel/catering/conducted sight-seeing/ entrance fee at Monuments/Parks/Palaces/Cultural Programs/ Boat Ride.
The Tariff that is not included : The fare for video cameras, liquor, laundry and other items of personal nature are not included in tariff.
Note:
10% Surcharge shall be levied on departure during Christmas/New Year.
3.09% Service Tax shall be levied on the tariff of Deccan Odyssey.
However, the tariff rate may be subjected to any change without notice.
The traveler should note that no refund or adjustment will be made in the event of interruption of journey by a tourist on his own.
Reservation and Cancellation Rules :
Reservation :
- 20% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking
- Remaining 80% of ticket value -45 days prior to departure.
CANCELLATION

Cancellation charges are as follows:-
(1) 5% of the Ticket Value- if the cancellation is made 60 days prior from the date of journey.
(2) 20%. of the Ticket Value- if the cancellation is made 59-30 days prior from the date of journey.
(3) 50% of the Ticket Value- if the cancellation is made 29-15 days prior from the date of journey.
(4) 100% of the Ticket Value- if the cancellation is made 14 days prior from the date of journey.
Tourist Information
The temperature varies from 8º C to 30º C in the months of September to March and lies between 26º C to 35º C in April. It is recommended to carry light woolen cloths for the tour. For physical check, you can expect doctor on call at every next station. Money exchange facility/credit cards. Full security arrangement is made during sightseeing tours.
