
The self-contained multi-day river adventure down the Alaknanda River initiates from the base of Ganga, which is the extremely pilgrims town-Rishikesh. Then the rafter will proceed further towards Rudraprayag (70 km) and a scenic drive of 165 kms to Devprayag. Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Alaknanda Rafting Expedition starts with arriving at Delhi and transferring to a hotel for a lavish night before going for a challenging voyage.
Day 02 : Delhi - Rishikesh - Shivpuri
Morning starts with taking breakfast and driving to Rishikesh. Check in a camp at Shivpuri tremendously placed on an immense sandy beach at the bank of Ganga Shore. Afternoon can be utilized by designing a short plan of the following trip. Enjoy the evening with campfire with a delicious dinner and a peaceful night.
Day 03 : Shivpuri - Rudraprayag
Wake up early in the morning to take the Kayak lessons. In the noon, take your lunch at Rudraprayag. Here the rafters will be lured by the magnificent sight of the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi. This confluence sight is the origin of River Ganga. Overnight halt is at hotel.
Day 04 : Rudraprayag - Maletha Beach
At the 4th morning you will start your expedition after getting a few instructions on padding and rapids to be faced. The trip starts with big Grade IV rapid and then other small grades will come on quick successions. Soak in the sun, river and panorama, staying attentive to assist negotiate rapids. Take your lunch and get yourself engage in making camp at Srinagar for night halt. The distance covered in river is not less than 36 kms till Maletha beach. Make your campfire dinner and overnight stay at Maletha beach.
Day 05 : Maletha Beach - Beas Ghat
In the morning after tea and breakfast raft down to Devprayag-the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi stream. For halt and dinner produce one camp at Beas Ghat. Beas Ghat is a world famous fishing spot for Mahseer thus also called as Ganga Gold. Night stay is obtainable at Beas Ghat with dinner.
Day 06 : Beas Ghat - Kaudiyala
This day starts with rafting of 30 kms to arrive at the camp of Kaudiyala. Thus the day begins with a few rapids after running a little Grade IV rapids as the “Daniel Dip” and “ The Wall”. Stay the night at Kaudiyala camp where you can also make your dinner.
Day 07 : Kaudiyala - Shivpuri
Now the day comes to negotiate with a few small rapids, followed by several other rapids named “ Three Blind Mice” “Crossfire” and “the body surfing Rapid”. Make a journey of at least 15 kms to reach at Shivpuri and drive back to silver sands for night halt and dinner.
Day 08 : Shivpuri - Rishikesh - Delhi
At the concluding day of your Alaknanda trip, drive down to Shivpuri to start with some big rapids “ the Roller Coaster “ and “ Golf Course”. This comes with a successful touch to this adventurous sail. Arrive Rishikesh for lunch and go back to Delhi at the same day.
