Out of many historical monuments in Jammu and Kashmir, the Rangdum Gompa of Ladakh is also one of them. The Rangdum Gompa that is located in the Zanskar region of Ladakh was founded in the 18th century. About 40 monks used to live in this Gompa. This Gompa resembles more like an age-old fortification. It stands as a protector of a mystical mountain valley.
You can admire a small museum inside this monastery. Here you can view the fascinating Tibetan and other relics. Fascinating streams and valleys around the monastery adorns the place to an extremum level. You can also meet with the descent villagers staying around the Rangdum Gompa. It is due to this reason that the Gompa witnesses increasing number of tourist from the entire world.
