Out of many historical monuments in Jammu and Kashmir, the Rangdum Gompa of Ladakh is also one of them. The Rangdum Gompa that is located in the Zanskar region of Ladakh was founded in the 18th century. About 40 monks used to live in this Gompa. This Gompa resembles more like an age-old fortification. It stands as a protector of a mystical mountain valley.
