Bhimgarh Fort is located 64 Km to the north-west of Jammu. This magnificent fort is also known as the Reasi Fort. This historic monument is situated on a hillock approximately to a height of 150 metres. The members of the royal family used to reside in this fort. The main entry gate of the Bhimgarh Fort is constructed by Baluka stones. This stone is engraved with Rajasthani carving. This gaint gate is 50 metres long and one metre wide. Inside the fort, one can find a statue of the Goddess Mahakali and of God Hanuman. There is a temple, a pond and a number of rooms in this fort.
