Day 01: Arrive Cochin
Cochin Kerala Spic Tour begins with the arrival at Cochin International Airport where a very personal traditional welcome with vermilion and garland awaits you. You will be met and assisted transfer to Hotel. In the evening take a walk at Fort Cochin, near the Chinese Fishing Nets. Have a beautiful view of the Sun - set. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Cochin Sightseeing
Next morning after breakfast enjoy the sightseeing tour of Cochin that includes St. Francis Church, Matancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue and the Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening watch the spectacular Kathakali dance show. Over night stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Cochin - Munnar
After breakfast drive to Munnar, one the most beautiful hill station of Kerala where the tea plantations spread like a green carpet on Earth. On arrival, check in at the resort. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and over night stay at resort.
Day 04: Munnar
After breakfast enjoy the sight seeing at Munnar Morning Sightseeing covering Mattupetty dam and lake, Rajamala, the natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr, a rare mountain goat and the Eravikulam National Park. Over night stay at hotel.
Day 05: Munnar - Periyar
After breakfast, proceed by surface for Periyar through the scenically vibrant valley of the Cardamom Hills of the Western Ghats. On arrival at Periyar, check in at resort. Enjoy evening at leisure. Over night stay at the resort
Day 06: Periyar sightseeing
Early morning take a boat ride on Periyar Lake to watch wildlife. A short trek inside the forest is a thrilling experience. By the afternoon enjoy the Spice Plantation tour. Over night stay at the resort.
Day 07: Periyar- Kumarakom
After Breakfast, leave for Kumarakom a typical backwater village. En route visit Rubber plantation .On arrival, check in at resort. Over night stay at the resort.
Day 08: Kumarakom
After morning breakfast the whole day is free to feel relax in the houseboats or enjoy the backwater cruises. Visitors can also indulge in Ayurveda massages to feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Don’t forget to visit Kumarakom bird sanctuary. By the evening enjoy the boating and sun set cruise. Return back to the resort for dinner and over night stay.
Day 09: Kumarakom-Houseboat
Late in the morning board the Houseboat for an overnight cruise through the unique backwaters of Kerala. Cruise through the palm fringed canals; watch the Paddy fields, village folk. Relax on board hearing lullaby of the wind and waves. Overnight on board. Enjoy the candlelit dinner onboard and over night stay.
Day 10-14: [04 Nights/ 05 days]
Disembark at Alleppey and drive to a Beach of your choice. You can opt for Marari, Varkala, Kovalam or Bangaram Island Resort from your beach holidays.
Day 15: Departure
On the last day of Kerala Spice Tour in time assisted transfer to Cochin / Trivandrum / Agatti Airport for the onward flight. With this the Kerala Spice Route tour comes to an end.
